Awarded VMware vExpert 2013 !

Received some great news yesterday. For the third time in a row I am awarded the VMware vExpert title. VMware vExpert is the equivalent of Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional program (MVP).

vExperts have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. I have done this since 2009 when I started my blog. I still enjoy blogging and sharing my knowledge and information on server virtualization and cloud computing.

Congratulations to all other vExperts. The number of vExperts has grown to a record number of  581 vExperts, which is the largest group yet in the 5-year history of the program. As a side note I do hope VMware does not use the vExpert program as a marketing tool by increasing the number of vExperts and relaxing the requirements. Being a vExpert is and should stay not an easy to accomplish title.

An overview of all awardees can be found here.
