System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 SP1 networking explained

System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 SP1 (SCVMM 2012 SP1) added a lot of new features for networking. For example a logical switch which simplifies the deployment and configuration of virtual switches in your Hyper-V environment.

However those new features can be a bit difficult to understand. Lots of new terms are being used. Especially virtual networking in which VMs can move around Hyper-V  infrastructures without changing IP-configuration is difficult to configure.
