No TechEd Europe in 2011! TechEd 2012 in Amsterdam!!

In April 2011 Microsoft officially announced there will no TechEd Europe organized in 2011. The next Tech·Ed Europe will be held the week of June 25, 2012 at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in the historical and picturesque city of Amsterdam.

At February 27 a Twitter message was sent by @Clustermvp with the message there will be no TechEd in Europe in 2011. Earlier other Twitter users had some doubts if there will be a Teched Europe organized by Microsoft in 2011.

At this Microsoft Teched blog site (Finish language) someone from Finland confirms ‘Teched Europe moves to 2012″

At March 22 Microsoft officially announced Teched Europe 2011 has been cancelled according a Twitter message

The reason for no TechEd Europe in 2011 is because TechEd Europe 2012 will be in summer instead of the past TechEd events which were in November. The period between TechEd 2011 in November and Teched 2012 in summer is too short.

In summer 2012 we will see a TechEd Europe maybe in Amsterdam or Copenhagen.
