Microsoft iSCSI software target available for download

Microsoft made iSCSI software target version 3.3 available for public download at April 4. The software can be installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 only.

It can be used as a shared storage solution for example Hyper-V servers part of a cluster.

To configure the iSCSI initiatior on the workstation or server which needs to connect to shared storage over iSCSI read the document titled iSCSI Initiator Users Guide for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
