Hyper-V cannot be installed even processor is compatible

After enabling the Hyper-V role on a Windows Server 2008 machine an error is displayed:

“Hyper-v cannot be installed. Server manager has detected that the processor on this computer is not compatible with Hyper-V”

The server is for sure compatible for Hyper-V.

A cause could be that the Hyper-V role has been enabled by the command ” start /w ocsetup Microsoft-Hyper-V”

Remove the role by the command ” start /w ocsetup Microsoft-Hyper-V /uninstall”

Install the Hyper-V role using the Server Manager gui, Add roles
